Day 1 :Ahmedabad

Arrive Ahmedabad and Meet and Greet and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 2 : Ahmedabad

Early morning after breakfast visit Calico Museum it’s simply finest collection of textiles, clothes, furniture, crafts in the country.The calico museum of Textile is one of the world’s finest collections of antique and modern Indian textile. Highlight of the this Tour( include a number of exquisite pieces made for the British & Patroguese, while India’s royal households there’s an embroidered tent and robe of Shah Jahan. Look out too for the Patola saris, woven in patan. Other galleries are dedicated to embroideries, bandhani tie-and-dye, textiles made for overseas trade and wollen shawls from Kashmir and chamba. In addition to exhibits from other Indian regions, tribal crafts such as kutchi silk-and-cotton mashru weaving are displayed in spectacular wooden havelis from Patan and siddhpur in northern Gujarat. AdalajVav- Gujarat’s most spectacular step-wells which was built by Queen Rudabai, entrances leading to a huge platform that rest on 16 pillars. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 3 :Ahmedabad

In the morning visit Sidi Saiyed Mosque the solid fortified citadel, Bhadra , built of deep red stone in 1411 as Ahmedabad’s first Muslim structure. Sidi Saiyad Mosque, built by a general of Abysinian origin in the 1570 is best known for its intricate perforated stone work, The Sidi Saiyad Mosque is famous for its ten semis – circular delicately carved stone windows; one of them shows the intricately entwined branches of a tree, depicting the ‘Tree of life’.The Swetambara Temple, Hatheesing temple was built outside Delhi gate in 1850 by a rich Jain merchant Sheth Hatheesing. This is the best known of Ahmedabad’s many ornate Jain temples. It is dedicated to Dharamnath, the fifteenth Tirthankar whose status stand in the main sanctuary Built by pure marble profusely decirated with rich carving, Gandhi Ashram The beautiful ashram complex of Ahmedabad, with shady trees populated by thousands of paraketers, Beaters, sunbirds, squirells, offers a refuge from the loud streets of the city and is one of the foremost tourist attraction of Ahmedabad. This ashram was Gandhi’s headqquartersduring the long struggle for Indian independence. His ashram was founded in 1915 and still makes handicrafts, handmade paper and spinning wheels. This ashram is open from 8.30 AM to 6.30 PM. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Ahmedabad.

Day 4 :Ahmedabad - Dasada

Early morning Drive to Dasada, Enroute visit Rani ki Vav (Step well). It was built by the Queen Udaymati the wife of Bhimdev during 11-12th Century. It is the most magnificent and spectacular stepwell and the best example of such architecture for water wells. The stepwell has long stepped corridor descending down to the underground tank, it is having four pillars. The Pillars which support the roof have square base decorated with Ghat Pallavas. It was one of the largest and the most sumptuous structure of its type. Later visit Patan, patan is Famous for patola weaving,Salvi family is one of them who has continued this traditional art and has preserved it even today. Patola silk is often termed as the queen of all silk. The special technique of the handmade silk patola uses the same special technique for weaving from raw silk to the completion of the patola fabric. The weaver makes the special patola loom and colouring from indigenous natural materials. Patola from the area of patan in the north Gujarat region of western India glorifies this heritage with its unique gem like qualities, gorgeous colours, designing & durability.Different colour and pattern matched exactly on horizontal and vertical threads in weaving. The patola was traditionally woven in a sari length of 5 to 9 yards by 45” to 54” width. The range now extends to include tablecloth borders scarves, handkerchief. Later drive to Modhera Sun Temple, Modhera Sun Temple dates back to early 11th centuary and was built by King Bhimdev I in 1026 CE. The temple at modhera is the most important of all sun temples built in the whole Gujarat. The temple is dedicated to the Sun God. The temple is magnificent and the finest example of the Hindus architecture in Gujarat. One of the most striking features of ModheraSunTemple is that the first ray of the sun falls on the deity at the time of the equinoxes. In front of the temple is a colossal tank, which was once known as Surya Kund or Rama Kund.The tank has a series of the carved steps leading to the bottom.Later Continue to Dasada drive. Check in to hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Dasada.

Day 5 : Dasada

After breakfast visit of ‘Wild ass sanctuary at Dasada.Dasada is famous for Asiatic wild ass which does not live elsewhere in Indian lowlands. We can see with Little Rann of Kutch blackbuck (Indian antelope), nilgai or blue bull (India’s largest antelope), and the graceful chinkara are other mammals as well as you can see Indian wolf, desert Fox, Indian Fox, Jackals, desert and Jungle cates and a few hyenas; also we can see different type of birds like Flamingoes, pelicans, ducks, cranes and storks. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Dasada.

Day 6 :Dasada - Bhuj

After breakfast drive to Bhuj, Check in to Hotel. Evening Visit market area of Bhuj as well as Foreign Registration office to take a permit to visit Banni Tribal area. Overnight stay will be at hotel in bhuj.

Day 7 : Bhuj

Excursions visit of Banni villages to see the various people like jat, Harijan, and Meghawal, Mutwa etc. in various villages like Hodka , Ludiya and Dhordo. Normally Jats do not allow their photography. To carry packed Lunch and enough water is must in these remote area except tea nothing is available. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Bhuj.

Day 8:Bhuj

After Breakfast, visit to BhjodiVillage than drive to Mandvi to visit RabariVillage after Tunda Wandh near Mandvi. Also visit of Beaches & palace at Mandvi. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Bhuj.

Day 9: Bhuj - Jamnagar

After breakfast, visit of Bhuj Local city,includes Aaina Mahal, Prag Mahal, KutchMuseum. Aaina Mahal – Aaina Mahal means MirrorPalace. It was constructed by the artists Ramsingh and Gaidhar Devshi ruler of Rao Lakhpatji in the 18 centuary. Ramsingh is specialized in Kutchi architecture, enamel work, jewellery, tile work and interior decoration. The great master piece of Ramsingh is the Hall of the Mirrors and this is the real attraction in the Aaina Mahal. The walls are white marble covered with mirrors which are separated by gilded ornaments.The hall is lit by elaborate pendant candelabra with shades of Venetian glass. The hall of the mirrors is on the second floor of the Aaina Mahal but Ramsingh devised ingenious pumps and Siphons to rise up water to fill the pleasure pool and to operate fountain which cast spray in an intricate variety of patterns charming the eye and cooling the air. The small state apartment carpeted with exquisite Kutchi silk embroidery. The hall is filled with a miscellaneous collection of objects, a Dutch Clock, English and French celestial globes, some antique pictures, mechanical toys, glass. On the walls of the corridor are a variety of pictures some European and many Indian. The Prag Mahal is also one of the most interesting palaces and the famous monuments in Gujarat. The prag Mahal in bhuj is an example of magnificent architecture. The décor of ornate Italian marble and golden sandstone give the palace a unique look and leaves one spellbound. KutchMuseum – The Kutch museum was established in 1877 by British Governor of Mumbai known as Sir James Fergusson. The KutchMuseum was initially recognized as FergussonMuseum. It has a fabulous collection of Kshatrapa inscriptions, various archaeological objects, weapons, musical instruments and specimens of various crafts of the Kutch region. Kutch museum has also a very fine collection of Kutchi silver and golden work, enamellings, textiles, wood work, coins, old utensils, arms and other archaeological objects.The museum is situated on the bank of lake ‘Hamirsar’and infront of the garden ‘Nazar Baugh’.The KutchMuseum closed only on Wednesday and on 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month and other days open from 9.00 to 11.00 and 15.00 to 17.30. Continue drive to Jamnagar,Check in to hotel .Overnight stay will be at hotel in Jamnagar.

Day 10: Jamnagar - Dwarka

Early morning drive to Dwarka,visit of Dwarka City Tour which includes visit of Gomti River,Dwarkadish Temple- temple of Lord Krishna & in the noon driver to Okha port in between visit of Lord Shiva Jyotirling known as Nageshwar,Gopi pond,Rukhmani Temple,& procced for bet Dwarka temple by Boat. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Dwarka.

Day 11: Dwarka - Somnath

Morning procced to Porabandar(130 Kms) visit of Kirti temple known as house & born place of Mahatma Gandhi. Also visit of Gandhi museum, study room of Mahatma Gandhi in the Kirti temple. Later visit of Sudama temple & continue to Somnath, In somnath visit somnath temple – A lord shiva temple knoen as Jyotirlinga built by Moon God. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Somnath.

Day 12: Somnath - Diu

After breakfastproceed for Diu. In the morning visit of Diu Fort & beach. The fort has canons, which reminds one of the struggles between bahadur Shah, Sultan of Gujarat, Mughal emperor & the Portuguese. Later visit Diu includes St.PaulChurch which is founded by Jesuits, DiuMuseum which is collection of wooden carving, idols, shadow clocks & so many other items. In the evening visit of Beaches. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Diu.

Day 13: Diu - Sasangir

After Breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed for Sasangir.The last home for 300 Asiatic Lions who are on the verge of extinct. Visit Devalia Park to watch Lions in their natural habitat and enjoy bird watching. One can also go for Jeep safari (own cost).Overnight stay will be at a Resort in Sasangir.Special Note: Sasangir Sanctuary is closed every year 15 June to 15th Oct (in such period the said night replaced at Gondal on Deluxe Package & Standard Package same Night can be adjustable at Rajkot).

Day 14: Sasangir - Junagadh

Morning again optional safari to GirNational Park, Noondrives to Junagadh, Check in hotel, visit of UPERKOT FORT, is an ancient fort built by Chandra Gupta. The fort has been rebuilt & extended many times. Later visit of Ashokan Edicts,Mahabat Maqbara. The Ashoka’s Rock edict is on way of Girnar hill temple. The rock engraved with the Buddhist edicts of Ashoka. The edicts impart moral instruction on dharma, harmony,tolerance and peace. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Junagadh.

Modhera

Built in 1026 ad during the reign of the solanki king bhima -1, modhera Surya mandir marks the peak of revolution in Indo-AryanHindu temple form Typology. It is positioned in such a manner that the rising sun rays illuminate the deity in the inner most sanctum sanctorum through the main Entrance at the time of equinox only. With its grandeur, elegance and Clarity it only rivals it contemporaries at konark and khajuraho but arguably surpasses them in it symbolic overtones and spiritual setting with Placement of the water kund integral to the complex. This temple is Dedicated to the sun God,it stands high on an elevated plinth overlooking a Deep stepped tank,both the interiors and the exteriors have exquisitely Caved. Day 15: Junagadh

After Breakfast, Excursion visit of GirnarHill- The height of the hill is 1100m. It has 10,000 steps to reach on the top.The steps were built in 1899 and 1908; start the Journey early in morning before 7 am is fine.From top peak view are superb.This is a major pilgrimage centre for both Hindu and Jain. A Sadhu(Priest) gathers in time of Kartika Purnima festival. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Junagadh.

Day 16: Junagadh - Gondal

Morning after breakfast drive to Gondal, visit of Naulakha palace, it is a palace of stone carvings with balconies. It is a gift for Maharaja Bhagwat Singh Ji on his silver jubilee as ruler of Gondal. Visit of vintage car collections, have a collection of several vintage and classical cars including a 1910 new engine with so many imposing American cars of the 1940s. Later visit of SwaminarayanTemple, Bhuvneshwary Ayurvedic Library, which makes the herbal medicines according to ancient principals. In the noon drives to Veerpur-JalaramBapaTemple. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Gondal.

Day 17: Junagadh - Rajkot

After Breakfast, drive to Rajkot. Check in hotel, restof the day for own activities Overnight stay will be at hotel in Rajkot.

Day 18: Rajkot - Bhavnagar

Morning drive to Bhavnagar,check in hotel. In the evening visit of Takhteshwar temple of Lord Shiva, Temple is located on hill & made of marbles. Gandhi smriti,an institute,library,museum & gallery of Photographs represent the life of Gandhi. Barton library & museum is a collection of Colonel Barton, An important British representative in Saurashtra. Coin collection is the attraction of this museum. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Bhavnagar.

Day 19: Bhavnagar

After breakfast drive to Palitana (56 kms). Visit of Palitana Jain temple. Palitana is one of the India’s most pilgrim centres. The 600 metre climb to Shantrunjaya is usually on foot, lift chairs ( Dolly’s) are also available. Mountshatrunjaya is hardly a kilometre away from the town, on both sides by minor temples, include museums. The mountain is associated with Rishabhdev, temple first Tirthankara, also known as Adinath. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Bhavnagar.

Day 20: Bhavnagar - Baroda

Morning drive to Pavagadh via Lothal, visit of Lothal it’s an example of Harappa Ancient civilization, darshan of Godess Maha Kali, continue drives to Baroda, Visits of City Maharaja fateh Singh museum, Sayaji Bagh, Check in hotel. Overnight stay will be at hotel in Vadodara.

Day 21: Baroda - Departure

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and transfer to Vadodara Airport / Railway Station with the sweet memories of Gujarat.
