Mumbai Tour 5

Day 1 : Arrive Mumbai

Arrive at Mumbai airport /railway station and transfer to hotel. Mumbai, India’s commercial capital.Afternoon, visit Gateway of India and Elephanta Islands.Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Mumbai

After breakfast, a full day guided city sightseeing of Mumbai including Crawford Market, the Afghan Church in Colaba and the Prince of Wales Museum, The Chowpatty Beach. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Mumbai – Nashik (180 kms / 3.5 kms)

Breakfast at hotel followed by drive to Nashik. On arrival at Nashik check in Hotel for overnight stay.

Day 4 : Nashik

After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a tour through the bottling plant at Sula Vineyard; also visit Pandavleni Caves - one of the oldest caves in Maharashtra and Muktidham temple - built in white marble with an unusual architecture. Eighteen chapters from the epic, Bhagwad Gita, are inscribed on the walls of this temple. Later, transfer to hotel for overnight stay

Day 5 : Nashik – Aurangabad (218 kms / 4.5 hrs)

After breakfast at hotel, driven to Aurangabad - has been a place of great importance due to it’s location on the famous "Silk Route" that traversed across the breadth of Asia to reach Europe. Textiles, embroidered finery and various kinds of beads made in nearby Paithan were exported to the markets of Greece, Rome and Egypt. Under royal dynasties such as the Satavahanas, Vakatakas, Chalukyas and Rashtrakutas, Aurangabad developed as a centre of culture and learning. It gave birth to or provided inspiration for great poet – saints and philosophers like Dyaneshwar, Eknath and Ramdas, Wali and Siraj. On arrival check in hotel. Later, excursion to Ajanta Caves. Overnight at hotel.

Day6 - Aurangabad

Breakfast at hotel.Guided excursion to the Ellora Caves.Later, city sightseeing of Aurangabad visiting BibikaMaqbara, Daulatabad Fort. Overnight at hotel.

Day7 - Aurangabad –Departure -Onward destination

After breakfast, transfer to airport to board flight for further flight to onward destination.
