Day 1 : Delhi - Rishikesh

Morning departure to Rishikesh visiting Haridwar enroute. Arrive & check-in at hotel. Rishikesh is about 24 Kms from Hardwar, the place is famous for meditation. There are so many Ashrams and yoga institutes here, also the centre for white water river rafting and base for treks & hikes. Rishikesh, also known as the place of sages is at the confluence of the Chandrabhaga and Ganga Evening take part or witness illuminated Aarti at river Ganges. Overnight at hotel.

Day 2 : Rishikesh - Joshimath

oshimath one of the most beautiful sites on the whole trip. Enjoy the beautiful drive through the thick medicinal forest. Joshimath a beautiful place located enroute to Badrinath and also the hub for Valley of Flowers, Kemkund Sahib and Auli the Ski Resort. It was one of four pith established by Adi Shankaracharya in 8th Century. It is believed that Sri Badrinath (The God Vishnu) resides here in winter. Overnight at hotel.

Day 3 : Joshimath - Govindghat - Ghangaria.

Morning drive to Govindghat from here our 2 days trek commences to Valley of flowers. Today trek to Ghangria through pine forest, on the way rewarded with beautiful views of 6,200 m. HATHI PARBHAT. Overnight at tourist rest house / Camp.

Day 4 : Ghangria - Valley of Flower - Ghangria

Today trek to Valley of Flower. A splendid Valley with hundreds of flower. Valley of flower stands at an altitude of 12,050 ft. The Valley was introduced to the world as the Valley of Flowers by Frank S Smyth - mountaineer, explorer, botanist who camped here for several weeks in the monsoon of 1937 and did valuable exploratory work. In 1939, Miss Margarate Legge, a botanist deputed by the botanical gardens of Edinburgh arrived at the valley for further studies. While she was traversing some rocky slopes to collect flowers, she slipped off and was lost for ever in the garden of the gods. Thoughtful memorial is still there and the lines inscribed on the marble slab read:"I will lift mine eyes unto the Hills from whence cometh my strength" The Paradisal Valley of flowers is an glacial corridor surrounded by snow capped mountains houses around 500 species of flowering plant including Brahmakamal, the cobra lily, the Himalayan edelweiss,Himalayan blue poppy, orchids, poppies, primulas, calendulas, daisies etc. Some of them are at the edge of extinction. The valley of flowers is also the home to Thar, snow leopard, musk deer, red fox, common langur, bharal, serow, and Himalayan black bear. After exploring the valley of flowers, Evening return back to Ghangaria, overnight at Camp. (Please note that camping within the Valley of Flower is not permitted)

Day 5 : Ghangria - Rudraprayag

After breakfast drive to Rudraprayag- Rudraprayag is the confluence of the Rivers Mandakini and Alaknanda. The Rudranath Temple is located at the meeting point of two rivers. Rudraprayag is one of the famous five prayags the other one are Vishnuprayag, Nandprayag, Karanprayag and Devprayag.

Day 6 : Rudraprayag - Hardwar. .

After breakfast drive to Hardwa. Hardwar is the gateway town to Sri Badrinath and Kedarnath. The Kumbh and Ardh Kumbh fair takes place here in every 12th yrs and 06th Year. It is the place where river Ganges leaves mountain and flows to plains. It was also called as the Kapilsthan after the great sage Kapil, who lived & meditated here. Hardwar, The land of Ashrams, Dharamshalas and other similar religious centers established by saints & yogis. Hardwar is one of the seven sacred cities, where Moksha (spritual liberation) can be attained more easily as per Hindu mythology. The one dip to the holy river Ganges can give you a salvation from all your sins.The most popular and sacred Ghat is known as Hari-ki-Pairi, a footprint of Vishnu on a stone in a wall. Evening participate in Aarti Ceremony which normally takes place around 7 pm every evening . Ganga Aarti gives you a spectacular sight hundreds of miniature lamps float along the river. Day 7 : Hardwar - Delhi.
